FAQ
Common Questions.
Everything we get asked about our jars, our process, and the way we ship. Still curious? Send us a note, we read every one.
What makes your mushrooms different from others?
Our mushrooms are crafted through a unique fermentation process, sustainable farming practices, and our own proprietary blends. Every jar reflects three years of recipe development by our small San Fernando Valley team that hand-packs every batch.
Are your products organic and sustainably sourced?
Yes. We use sustainably grown, non-GMO mushrooms and ingredients like garlic, vinegar, and time, nature's own preservatives. No artificial colours, no thickeners, no shortcuts.
Do your mushroom jars need to be refrigerated?
Our jars are preserved naturally and are pantry-stable, sealed, for 12 months. Refrigeration is recommended after opening to maintain freshness and flavor. Consume within 4 weeks of opening.
Are your products safe for children or pregnant women?
Customers with dietary concerns, allergies, pregnancy-related questions, or medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before use. Our jars contain vinegar, salt, and natural ferments.
How long does shipping take?
We ship across the United States only. Orders are hand-packed and usually leave our kitchen within 1–2 business days, then arrive within 3–5 business days depending on where in the US you are. Every order is tracked.
Do you offer wholesale or gifting?
Yes. We supply restaurants, bottle shops, and curated grocers across the United States. For wholesale enquiries, or to arrange a gift box, email sales@goldengrovemushrooms.com.

Great little addition to dinner
I've been keeping a jar in the fridge and adding a few to rice bowls or alongside chicken. Easy way to make a basic dinner a lot more interesting.

Already reordered
Started with two jars because I wasn't sure what to expect. The mushrooms still have a bite to them and don't have that canned texture at all. We finished both jars in less than a week, so I came back for the 6-pack. Crimini and black shimeji are the two I doubled up on.

Shiitake is seriously good
If you like savory foods, get the shiitake. It has way more flavor than I expected from a pickled mushroom.
-
The brine is almost as good as the mushrooms
We got a 6-pack and picked a mix of everything. The mushrooms taste fresh and each jar is actually different, which I appreciated because I was expecting the flavors to be more or less the same. The king oyster is rich and the white shimeji is much lighter. I've also been saving the crimini brine for salad dressing.

Perfect for a cheese board
Bought these for a small cheese board and everyone kept asking where the mushrooms were from. The crimini were the first jar we finished.

Loved the mushrooms, lid was tight
The mushrooms themselves were excellent and everything arrived packed well. I ordered the 4-pack and liked the crimini and king oyster the most. One of the lids was extremely hard to open, which is the only issue. Once I got it open, the jar disappeared pretty quickly.
